After a hard fight, Tav tries to high-five Lae'zel, but she has no idea what they're doing and when they explain she goes "I see, so the people of Faerun celebrate a hard-won victory through physical violence with their allies? Perhaps I was too quick to judge your people as cowards and weaklings."
And then she 'high-fives' Gale so hard she breaks his wrist and a very annoyed Shadowheart has to spend one of her spells to heal him.
Sometimes I open Ao3 as one would a fridge in the middle of the night. Hungry, but not willing to commit to anything that is in there and hopping a miracle will make something new and appetising appear out of thin air if only I close it and open again.

One thing I love about the Percy Jackson tv series is that they very consciously avoid making Percy come off as stupid. He’s ADHD as they come, inattentive sure, and funny as hell but that doesn’t mean he’s dumb, and they never dumb him down for the joke.
I think even the fandom falls prey to dumb him down sometimes, so I feel soooo vindicated seeing the tv series portray him CORRECTLY—a young boy with learning disabilities + trauma, but who is bright and rebellious & quick on his feet & has this whole sea of potential that we get to explore :)
